What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Buyer position at Equity Staffing Group?
We have a need for a “Lead” / Buyer technician to share time between our clients sister hospitals in Norwalk and Gardena CA.
Position (needing coverage) : Interim Lead / Buyer technician
What skills are required / job requirements : They would have to be experienced in purchasing medications and other items for the pharmacy department and being able to test employees for the IV competencies, etc. They need to have experience in inpatient pharmacy duties (i.e. Pyxis filling, IV compounding, etc).
Is the specific state license required ? Yes, CA
Dates of Coverage needed : asap for at least 1 month, possibly more. This is to cover a LOA.
Coverage Hours needed : 40 hours / week, varying shifts between the two hospitals. But mainly day shift, M-F but could vary.
