Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Title Examiner at Equity Title Agency AZ. The Title Examiner will be responsible for tasks such as reviewing deeds, managing escrow amendment requests, examining chain of title, and conducting title searches to ensure smooth real estate transactions.

Duties

·         Examine chain of title and prepare commitment for title insurance.

·         Knowledge of the title process to determine what steps need to be taken to transfer the title of property and insure we have clear title.

·         Work with escrow department to resolve title issues such as legal descriptions, easements, lot splits, vesting, all tax liens, abstracts of judgments, bankruptcies, boundary disputes, encroachments, list pendants, etc.

·         Review and collect all documents that may be required for the issuance of title insurance

·         Prior to recording, verify all legal documents for correct acknowledgments, legal, and lien information

Required Qualifications

• Experience in examining Maricopa and Yavapai County sale and refinance transactions. 
• Attention to detail 
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Experience with Impact preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word and Outlook)
• Proficiency with title software (IMPACT, GREEN FOLDERS, DATA TRACE and DATA TREE) 
• Professional appearance and office attire
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of real estate and title insurance industry
• Previous experience REQUIRED
