Job Summary:

The Marketing Director, Digital Performance and Growth is a pivotal role within our organization. This individual will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, revenue growth, and overall marketing ROI through the development and execution of data-driven strategies across digital channels.

About the Role:

This senior-level position requires a leader who can manage a high-performing team, collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, and provide leadership in scaling paid media campaigns, optimizing multi-channel programs, and delivering transformational results.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive performance marketing strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets
  • Oversight of media planning, campaign execution, and optimization across all paid channels for B2C and B2B marketing programs
  • Guidance on strategy and implementation of owned channels, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Partnership with Executive and Sales leadership to ensure strategic alignment and business outcomes
  • Management of the performance marketing budget to maximize ROI and meet business objectives
  • Presentation of performance insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Building, mentoring, and managing a high-performing, cross-functional team consisting of internal employees and a paid media agency
  • Leadership by example, demonstrating data-driven decision-making, the use of AI and technology platforms to improve decision quality and efficiency
  • Fostering a culture of innovative thinking and continuous learning
  • Ensuring accountability for results
  • Owning and optimizing paid acquisition channels, including search, social, programmatic, display, partnerships, referral, and emerging platforms
  • Allocation of media budget to maximize revenue impact
  • Testing emerging channels and solutions within existing channels to discover new opportunities for growth
  • Prioritization and guidance of business growth through owned channels, including company websites, client portals, SEO, organic social, and email
  • Collaboration with creative and content teams to produce compelling user experiences, ad copy, visuals, and landing pages that drive conversion
  • Leadership of the marketing resources managing website properties and platforms
  • Oversight of Conversion Rate Optimization efforts across campaigns and digital properties to maximize the value of traffic
  • Analysis of performance data to develop hypotheses regarding the largest areas of opportunity
  • Structuring and executing experiments to generate validated learnings
  • Implementation of changes to realize long-term benefits from experimentation
  • Partnering with the Analytics Lead to ensure proper structuring of data to support critical decision-making
  • Utilization of insights such as customer segmentation, behavioral analysis, and lead scoring to maximize program performance
  • Identification of opportunities and initiation of development of additional insights positively impacting performance
  • Leveraging analytics and reporting tools to measure performance, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions
  • Creation and management of data visualizations to generate ongoing insights and communicate program performance
  • Management of the marketing attribution model to ensure consistent and accurate tracking of campaign and channel performance
  • Maintenance of a positive work environment and team morale, mentorship, and coaching of team members to develop top performers
  • Management of key vendor relationships to maximize value generated for the business
  • Research, analysis, and selection of software and consulting vendors to enhance team performance and efficiency
  • Partnering with legal and compliance to de-risk marketing programs and ensure adherence to industry regulations
  • Stay abreast of industry and competitor trends
  • Preparation of business proposals when opportunities arise
  • Management of ad hoc requests and undertaking of new initiatives to drive additional revenue
