Overview
Equity Wave Lending is looking for an Inside Mortgage Sales Assistant who is passionate about the customer experience and focused on building and servicing strategic relationships. In this role, you will drive business and loans by calling and marketing to existing clients and non-customers for mortgage loans. This position will work directly with a top producing account executive and VP of Sales to help drive in more mortgage loan submissions
Responsibilities
- Assist account executive with initiating and returning phone calls to existing and non existing customers.
- Work with account executive to identify all potential business sources and to meet loan volume goals
- Primary focus on driving sales, building, and strengthening mortgage broker, realtor, and other referral sourced relationships
- Develop and maintain client data base for effective use of contact management tools and CRM
- Direct mortgage broker approval process, providing broker with all forms required to recommend approval
- Educate mortgage brokers on program guidelines, submission requirements, and approval criteria, and loan process flow
- Pipeline management to ensure a quick funding
- Work with Underwriters to provide excellent communication on status of all loans in process
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year in the mortgage industry, prefer 1 year in private/ hard money space
- College degree preferred
- Confident Phone Voice
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to set goals and achieve them
- Strong communication skills and understanding of sales process
- Highly self-motivated and disciplined
- Strong Work Ethic
