Finance & Operations Intern (Full-Time, Winter 2024 - 2025)
EquityMultiple is on a mission to transform real estate investing through technology - providing a new level of access to private transactions and streamlining the investment process. We’re a 45-person startup headquartered in New York City making waves in the real estate crowdfunding space.
We’re looking for a full-time Finance & Operations Intern who’s excited to dig in and help support the financial and operational tasks that keep our business running and investors engaged. This is a great opportunity to learn more about finance, operations, and real estate investing while gaining real-world work experience.
We are looking for someone to start immediately, who's NYC-based and able to come into the office. The internship is set to end in May 2025 with the opportunity to extend the timeline with us into the future, including the opportunity for a future full-time role. The hourly rate for this role is $20/hour. This is a full-time role, ideally 30-40 hours per week.
In this role, you will:
- Help build and/or update dashboards and reports that support the operations and finance team
- Assist with the distribution process for our investors, ensuring returns gained from investments is accurately distributed to investors on time
- Maintain and clean up data in various places
- Coordinate cross-functionally to execute daily tasks related to investment and investor operations
- Support other team tasks as needed
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is an undergraduate senior
- Is studying a relevant discipline like business, economics, finance, etc.
- Has previous work or internship experience using Microsoft Excel
- Prides themselves on being extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Interested in learning more about real estate investing and how startups run
