Equix Integrity Southeast provides services to the Water / Wastewater collection systems industry, to both the public and private sectors. Our team of professionals have decades of experience in the Clean & TV, Inspection, Rehabilitation and Cross Bore markets. We have a current opening for a Shop Mechanic.
Responsibilities :
- Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
- Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair
- Communicates with the floor lead / supervisor to obtain parts needed
- Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
- Diagnoses, Maintains, and Repairs all Vehicle Systems Including Engine, Transmission, Electrical Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Climate, Computer, and Electronics
- Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order
- Road tests vehicles when required
- Knowledge in all Aspects of Automotive Repair and Maintenance
- Ability to Learn New Technology and Procedures
- Ability to Operate Electronic Diagnostic Equipment
- Fast Learner with a Problem-Solving Attitude
- Successful applicants must provide their own tools
- Keeps shop area neat and clean
