Position Summary :
The Telemetry Technician plays a crucial role in our acute telehealth company by monitoring and analyzing real-time patient data to ensure the accurate and timely transmission of critical health information. This position requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team. As a Telemetry Technician, you will contribute to delivering high-quality remote patient care and facilitating prompt interventions when necessary.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with hospitalists to assist in patient care plans based on telemetry data
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR) or other designated systems
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to telemetry equipment and escalate to appropriate support teams as needed
- Maintain a thorough understanding of company protocols, policies, and standards for remote patient monitoring
- Provide clear and concise verbal and written communication to convey patient information to healthcare providers and remote care teams
- Participate in continuous training and professional development to stay up to date with advancements in telemetry technology and patient care practices
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
