Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Provide help desk support to end-users, addressing technical issues promptly and effectively.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware problems, offering solutions that minimize downtime.
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and networking equipment.
- Configure and support VPN connections for remote users.
- Monitor network performance, ensuring optimal operation of LAN and firewall systems.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of computer hardware and software applications.
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate records of system configurations and changes.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to implement upgrades and new technologies as needed.
Skills
- Proficient in IT infrastructure management and support.
- Strong experience in help desk operations and providing technical support.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of VPN setup and management.
- Expertise in software troubleshooting techniques.
- Solid understanding of computer networking principles, including LAN configurations.
- Experience with firewall management to ensure network security.
- Proficient in computer hardware installation, maintenance, and repair.
