Omni Channel Specialized Sporting Goods Retailer looking for an Operations Manager to run daily operations.
Due to business growth there is an immediate requirement for an experienced Operations Manager to join our business.
You will direct day-to-day activities in all departments, requiring strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and implement successful management strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee retail operations at all Brick and Mortar locations
- Manage the team of 20 employees on a daily basis
- Implement new procedures to streamline processes in all departments
- Liaise with Vendors, Customers and Suppliers
- Distribute responsibilities across departments, building efficiencies and utilizing available manpower to improve results
- Hire and train staff in all departments
- Conduct workforce training and development
- Improve business processes
You will need:
- At least 5 years’ experience in operations management
- Proven leadership skills
- Experience in negotiation and building relationships with suppliers
- Computer skills and reporting experience
- Motivation to drive continuous improvement processes
- Ability to manage a dynamic and changing workforce, as well as being able to work extremely well under pressure
- Dedication to the details, from budget management to locating inefficiencies
