Job Description
- Performs work involving the skills of two or more maintenance occupations to keep equipment of an establishment in good repair
- Performs preventative, routine and emergency maintenance on all homes/offices, vehicles, and related equipment to ensure safe and sanitary operations in compliance with safety codes and Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Minimum age 16
- Must have working knowledge of painting, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning/heating, refrigeration, auto mechanics, yard work techniques, and related tools
- Working knowledge of repair procedures for walls, flooring, windows, doors and other hardware
- Must be able to lift and/or support 50 pounds
- May need to drive within program sites and business office, as well as to various community vendors
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach overhead for simple home and office repairs and maintenance
