Responsibilities:
- Responsible for recommending, planning, and executing site space-plan changes
- Oversees and plans annual facility spending for office services, building and grounds maintenance, and facility expansion or improvement projects
- Plans, organizes, schedules, and directs the design, maintenance, construction, renovation, and repair of organization facilities
- Develops plans and programs that meet present and anticipated space and facility requirements
- Monitors and inspects all buildings and equipment to ensure that utility systems are fully operational and that preventive maintenance schedules are being followed
- Prepares cost estimates for building renovations or space allocations
- Evaluates completed work and checks for conformance to specifications
- May direct the safety and/or security functions of the facilities
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in business management, facilities management, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Maintenance experience required
- Familiarity with building upkeep, structural issues, and grounds maintenance
- Ensure that daily maintenance tasks are completed with all three (3) career offices
- Coordinates with general contractor and customer to ensure timeliness of build outs and accuracy of change orders and job specifications.
- Monitors the status and quality of the preventive maintenance program.
- Reviews policies and procedures annually.
- Ensures adequate pest control.
- Ensures vendors have been properly procured within FMGC guidelines.
- Coordinates with EO officer to ensure ADA compliance with HGAC.
- Coordinates with IT Department to ensure equipment is purchased, moved, and disposed of adequately.
- Maintains and makes repairs or arranges for maintenance/repairs to: heating equipment, refriegeration and air-conditioning equipment, electrical systems, water heaters, plumbing systems, and small appliances.
- Notify Project Director or Project Accountant of repairs costs.
- Completes minor repairs, such as patching holes, painting, clearing obstructions from drains and toilets.
- May clean other areas as assigned by superviosr or Project Director.
