Job Description
The Support Services Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of support services within the organization. This position is responsible for managing administrative tasks, coordinating support activities, and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the support services team, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and maintaining documentation.
- Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries related to support services, addressing questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the support services framework and assist in implementing new procedures.
- Data Management: Maintain and update databases, records, and reports related to support services activities, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration on support-related projects and initiatives.
- Training & Onboarding: Assist in the training and onboarding of new staff within the support services team, ensuring they are familiar with processes and tools.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot issues as they arise and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve problems efficiently.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on support services performance metrics and present findings to management.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education.
- 2-4 years of experience in administrative support or a related role, preferably in a support services environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
- Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
