Job Description
- Develop and expand relationships with local community organizations and other strategic partners to increase candidate traffic from those partners, increase awareness about WF1 services, identify community support services and wellness resources, and develop referral mechanisms for ongoing job opportunities in the system.
- Track, monitor and ensure CP goals are met and exceeded in accordance with SBS expectations.
- Develop robust reporting and data tracking mechanisms by Center and borough-wide to ensure goals are tracked and assessed; and take preventive measures accordingly to consistently keep up the CP referral to placement ratios.
- Educate community partners on industry specifics and trends, ensure that community partners are equipped with the right tools and knowledge to identify candidate in demand by the growing six sectors.
- Convene and train community partners regularly and serve as the main communication point of contact for all partners.
- Develop and manage sector-focused career advisement services for all Centers to identify and provide the best services for diverse jobseekers in terms of background, experience, and education.
- Revise and continually assess the quality and impact of workshops and career services provided at each Center to ensure relevance of information and skills-building is in accordance with sector demands.
- Direct and manage the Center’s career services as it assists all new graduates, mid-level and experienced professionals, as well as employer partners in the development of career education, career identification and search, and pursuit of employment and career growth opportunities.
- Additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- At least three years of professional experience in an outreach role, including one year of management or supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Excellent strategic thinking, operations, quantitative, and qualitative skills
- Ability to gather and synthesize information from a wide variety of people and sources
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in environments with multiple stakeholders, frequent change, and diverse objectives
- Experience managing large scale projects and driving change initiatives, including efforts requiring as-is process mapping and the design and rollout of new processes and standard operating procedures
