Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Human Resource Generalist to join our team in Harrisburg, United States. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for supporting various HR functions and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Manage employee relations, including addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and recommending appropriate actions
- Administer benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and educating employees on available options
- Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding new hires
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Conduct new employee orientations and coordinate training programs
- Assist with performance management processes, including annual reviews and goal-setting
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters
- Support payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely compensation
- Collaborate with other departments to promote a positive work environment and company culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in HR generalist roles
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred
- Proficiency in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Understanding of HR best practices and procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
