Job Description

Procures supplies, materials, equipment, and services required to support workforce operations in accordance with contract requirements, corporate objectives, and government policies.

•  Ensures purchases are cost effective and in compliance with government policies.
•  Purchases are made in a reasonable time frame for efficient workforce center operation.
•  Review each purchase document.
•  Ensure procurement is in accordance with the Equus Procurement Manual.
•  Maintain working library on rules and regulations for sub-contracting, property compliance, and equipment purchasing.
•  Uses the Small Business Administration as a prime source for locating new vendors.
•  Ensure that any goals for using small, woman owned, small disadvantage and hub zone businesses are met.
•  Create and maintain database of business supplies and vendors using on-line sources.
•  Maintains purchase order files with documentation as required.
•  Ensures that records are archived as required.
•  Maintains accountability of staff, students, and property.
•  Adheres to safety practices in all areas of responsibility.
•  Fosters and sustains a conducive environment, ensuring it remains free from harassment, intimidation, and disrespect, thereby ensuring a safe space for both staff and students to engagein work and learning.

Qualifications

•  High School Diploma or equivalent.
•  Associate’s Degree preferred
•  Two years experience preferred.

Additional Information

Starting Salary Range: $15-$20/hour
