Qualifications :
Associates degree or equivalent experience working in purchasing.
Strong skills in Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Excellent time-management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Can organize and prioritize job related duties.
Duties & Expectations :
Responsible for managing outside processes.
Obtain quotes from vendors.
Create vendor POs and manage them in the ERP system.
Utilize internal and customer Approved Supplier List.
Occasionally purchases supplies and materials as needed for company.
Create and manage pertinent reports utilizing company ERP system.
Review specifications and customer provided documents for requirements and revision control.
Assist with corrective action activities including investigation and communication with vendor.
Responsible for maintaining hazardous materials documentation.
Maintain a positive attitude and punctuality.
Maintains a clean and organized work space.
Willing to work in a team environment, assist and support office staff as needed, interact with departmental and supplier personnel as required.
Identify when applicable, continuous improvement of processes and understand the contribution to the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS).
Aware of quality policies, procedures, objectives, contribution to conformance of product, safety and ethics.
