What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Coordinator position at ERA Industries?
Qualifications:
· Experience in Production coordination, customer service and purchasing.

· Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
· Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, systems, and quality standards.
· Can organize and prioritize job related duties.
Duties & Expectations:
· Be a support contact for customers for purchase order placement, status and other related commercial aspects related to Prototype Department jobs another’s, if need it.
· Be liaison between customers and internal departments of Sales, Engineering, Production, Quality, Upper Management.
· Data entry of quotes (if need it) and purchase orders (from Customers) in a manner that is accurate and timely.
· Interact with customers and Vendors via phone, conference call, email or in person.
· Update and expedite order status to meet customer and internal schedules. Use tools such as milestones, charts, inch stone or other to track orders and communicate with all parties most effectively.
· Track all jobs to ensure milestones are on track for Prototype Department and / or selected Customers,
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, quality, and maintenance.
· Establish clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables for each order / job and monitor progress against predefined metrics.
· Coordinate resources, including manpower, equipment, materials, and budget allocations, to meet program objectives within defined timelines and budget constraints.
· Identify potential risks and challenges that may impact manufacturing process.
· Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies, maintaining accurate documentation and records of program activities.
· In the event of lack of work or another department needing assistance, may be asked to do other office related tasks including outside process purchase orders (20%-30% of daily duties).
· Research and manage vendors and work to improve their performance metrics.
· Create vendor POs and manage them in the ERP system.
· Utilize internal and customer Approved Supplier List.
· Create and manage pertinent reports utilizing company ERP system.
· Review specifications and customer provided documents for requirements and revision control.
· Assist with corrective action activities including investigation and communication with vendor
· Working closely with the General Manager to monitor Prototype Department activities.
· Maintain a positive attitude and punctuality.
· Work in a team environment.
· Keep clean and organized work area.
· Aware of quality policies, procedures, objectives, contribution to conformance of product, safety and ethics.
