Era Living is seeking a full-time Community Relations Director to become the newest member of our Community Relations team at The Gardens at Town Square, a beautiful retirement community in Bellevue, WA. The Community Relations team is responsible for working with potential residents and their families who are looking for a retirement community. Together, they market the community through events and community outreach, use a consultative sales process, provide strong customer service, and help facilitate smooth transitions into our community. Join us in our mission to respect and honor older adults by enhancing the quality of their lives. We do this by providing a holistic approach to senior living, filled with passion, energy and happiness! Available shifts will be scheduled Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday.

The Community Relations Director develops, implements, and evaluates the Community’s marketing plan in order to meet all sales and occupancy goals and is responsible for the overall successful execution of the Community Relations Program for The Gardens at Town Square. The Community Relations Director develops and implements comprehensive Community outreach campaign in the local community; manages visits/tours for interested parties; maintains relationships with future residents; participates in resident move-ins and move-outs and coordinates admission process for all residents; manages and is responsible for the compliance of the lead tracking system; participates in the development of special events both on- and off-site, and manages event goals for the Community team; participates in the design and development of advertising campaigns and marketing materials.

The Community Relations Director develops, implements, and evaluates the Community’s marketing plan in order to meet all sales and occupancy goals and is responsible for the overall successful execution of the Community Relations Program for The Gardens at Town Square. The Community Relations Director develops and implements comprehensive Community outreach campaign in the local community; manages visits/tours for interested parties; maintains relationships with future residents; participates in resident move-ins and move-outs and coordinates admission process for all residents; manages and is responsible for the compliance of the lead tracking system; participates in the development of special events both on- and off-site, and manages event goals for the Community team; participates in the design and development of advertising campaigns and marketing materials.
- Collaborates with the Executive Director to set appropriate daily, weekly and monthly goals for Community Relations (i.e., follow-up calls, events, tours, presentations, advertising)
- Provides community relations and resident orientation training to appropriate staff
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Ability to plan and prioritize work; ability to schedule tasks effectively to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Able to communicate clearly and appropriately with residents, families, care-team members, staff, volunteers and visitors; sensitivity to the needs of older adults and their families
- Ability to be creative and flexible in executing multi-faceted problem solving
- Ability to plan, direct, supervise, coordinate and evaluate the work of others
- Refined computer skills, with experience using Word and Excel
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Ability to pass DSHS background check, required
- Ability to perform duties in compliance with established Universal Precautions, fire safety, infection control and sanitation procedures, and Era Living policies and procedures
- Minimum of three years’ experience in sales, required. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field, preferred. Experience in Senior Housing Sales, preferred.
- Completion of Next Step Sales Management selling skills for senior housing and/or, BILD and Co. sales training, preferred.
- Management experience, preferred
- Experience with contact database management and community outreach, required
