Position Overview
Erb's Landscaping is a highly reputable Design Build Landscaping company operating throughout the Pocono region since 1999. We are seeking a dynamic Sales professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and customer service, with sales experience in the Landscaping and Hardscaping industry.
This is a part time position with heaviest workflow from early Spring until the production season ends in Early November, approximately 25-30 hours per week. Winter hours are lighter at approximately 15-20 hours per week . This is a Hybrid position, mostly remote with limited office hours, however, it requires travel within our service area. In this position you will have access to our full-time in-house Designer to aid in visual material for client presentations.
Phone, Chromebook and all required app subscriptions are provided. Company vehicle for site and sales visits is also provided.
Duties:
- Independently travel to job sites to perform site visits and gather all pertinent project information using knowledge base and standard industry tools and techniques.
- Lead Management and Execution - taking in-bound leads from initial contact through the estimating process into the sold stage then managing client communication and expectation during the production phase to the satisfactory completion of the project.
- Work closely with the production department and administrative support to ensure clear direction and communication for every project sold until project completion.
- Must be accessible to clients within the professional window to facilitate communication and client management.
- Ability to sell a full line of products and services knowledgeably along with enhancements to upgrade installation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in Landscaping/Hardscaping
- Design experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Proficiency in Google Workplace
- Presence at a standing in-person meeting every Wednesday at 7:15 AM during the production season, roughly April through October.
- Presence at a standing in-person Sales meeting during the production season TBD at time of hiring.

Compensation:
Base salary 32k provided and 3% - 5% commission paid upon completion of sold projects (commission percentage based on type of project sold).
This position is being offered with room to grow into a full time position.
