Private Events and Community Outreach Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and detail-oriented Private Events and Community Outreach Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for driving private event sales, coordinating and executing seamless events, and building strong relationships within the Coral Gables and Miami community to enhance Erba's presence and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

Private Events Management

• Develop and execute strategies to drive private event sales, including corporate gatherings, weddings, and special celebrations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
• Collaborate with the culinary and operations teams to customize menus, layouts, and timelines for each event.
• Maintain detailed records of event bookings, contracts, and payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee event execution, ensuring all details are met with excellence and professionalism.

Community Outreach

• Build and nurture relationships with local businesses, organizations, and influencers to promote Erba’s offerings and initiatives.
• Develop partnerships with community groups to create collaborative events or sponsorship opportunities.
• Represent Erba at local events, networking gatherings, and community meetings to foster visibility and goodwill.
• Coordinate charity and fundraising events that align with Erba’s values and mission.
• Develop marketing strategies to connect with the Coral Gables community through social media, email campaigns, and direct outreach.

Administrative Duties

• Track and report event sales performance and community outreach efforts to the leadership team.
• Manage a calendar of events and outreach activities, ensuring alignment with Erba’s overall goals.
• Develop promotional materials and proposals to support private event sales and outreach initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in event planning, sales, or hospitality management (fine dining or upscale restaurant experience preferred).
• Proven track record of generating event sales and managing client relationships.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with clients and the community.
• Familiarity with Coral Gables and Miami’s dining and social scene is a plus.
• Proficiency in event management software such as Tripleseat, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Passion for hospitality, food, and creating memorable guest experiences.
