We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Estimator to join our team in our Wilmington, DE office. The ideal candidate will have experience in estimating the cost and materials required for various ceiling and specialty finishes installation projects. The Estimator will work closely with our sales team to prepare accurate and competitive bids for potential projects.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for reading blueprints, estimating the amount of labor and materials required to complete projects.
- Prepare cost analysis to quote competitive pricing for Customer Proposals / Bids.
- Identifying profitable bid opportunities.
- Completing project take-offs.
- Producing bid packages in a timely manner that creates winning opportunity.
- Present cost estimates to meet customer proposals, providing consideration for general and special conditions.
- Prepare scope specifications and requirements, prepare and inputs project schedules, perform quantity takeoffs, prepare cost summary sheets, and input quantities into estimating software.
