Job Summary:
Healthcare Market Sector Leader is a managing principal responsible for all architecture and engineering work within the Healthcare market in collaboration with other market sectors. This leader develops client relationships and nurtures professional relationships with integrated team members. Market responsibilities include client relationship management, client and project pursuits, project profit goals, and fee and contract negotiations. The expectation of this role is approximately 50% of time is spent in pursuit of new business or converting additional projects with existing clients. This is achieved through conference attendance and speaking, working in collaboration with our dedicated Business Development team, preparing and leading interviews and RFP responses and building and executing capture plans with our current project teams. Deltek VantagePoint will be used as the enterprise wide CRM system.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Oversight: Direct oversight of market sector establishing goals, achieving objectives, and positioning ERDMAN for growth and profitability. Participates in creating and positioning ERDMAN for growth and market expansion, with team members and clients.
Financial Results: In conjunction with other Senior Leaders, realization of profits compatible with ERDMAN’s and clients’ interests.
Operations Controls: Oversees and controls operations and activities of the market sector, including client relationships, project commitments, resource planning, and new business development.
Constructive Leadership: Develops and uses constructive styles of leadership to achieve results, innovation, growth, and fulfilment of team members. Works with team members to establish clear goals and expectations, provides ongoing feedback, develops skills and knowledge of team members, and rewards people for their behavior and results.
Relationship Management: Serves as the primary liaison with clients to bring projects to completion while maintaining maximum client satisfaction from the project’s inception through completion.
Technical Writing / Thought Leadership: Leads project teams, in collaboration with Marketing, in developing thought leadership pieces and RFP responses. Leads project teams in presentations to capture and win work.
