PROJECT MANAGER - ERES COMPANIES
Position based in Tampa, FL
The Opportunity
The Project Manager will oversee the design, planning, and construction of a farm tank installation project. This includes managing the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to safety, budget, and quality standards, and overseeing communication with clients and contractors. The role requires strong leadership to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure timely project completion. Serves as the company liaison with co-workers, clients, and project stakeholders to seamlessly coordinate and effectively communicate the flow of information
Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution: Lead the planning and implementation of the farm tank installation, ensuring adherence to the timeline and budget. Formulates goals and objectives for the project and actively manages the project schedule including the critical path and all the milestones to ensure project goals are exceeded or met
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with the client, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns or requests.
- Contractor Coordination: Oversee and manage contractors, ensuring that tasks are completed according to project specifications.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor safety, quality, and progress. Ensure that all on-site work complies with local regulations and project specifications.
- Weekly & Monthly Meetings: Organize and lead weekly progress meetings with contractors, engineers, and internal teams. Monthly meetings will review overall progress, budget adherence, and any potential risks.
- Cost Control: Initiates cost control and reporting procedures in conjunction with the Estimating and Accounting teams Manages financial aspects of contracts, including change orders, contractor and supplier payments, equipment rentals, back charges, etc. Prepares monthly financial projections for leadership review
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare progress reports for stakeholders and ensure all necessary documentation is completed for compliance and quality control.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or delays promptly, adjusting the project plan as necessary.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in managing tank installation or large-scale construction projects.
- Proven experience in handling client relations and contractor management.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Familiarity with construction regulations and safety standards, especially in tank installation.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
