Leads the design, implementation, and maintenance of key applications / systems used by the Custom Accounts Division and by Transactional Insurance business at HSB. Acts as the lead Business Analyst for CAD / Transactional systems and the primary liaison to HSB and GSI Operations, IT and other technology disciplines. In addition to requirements development and documentation, this role executes or facilitates whatever project management, tracking, prioritization, etc. is required to ensure the fastest maximum delivery of application functionality to CAD business units.
The Leader takes ownership for the full lifecycle of business applications and automation delivery including… business selection process and the development of timelines / roadmaps; facilitation of business case development with key business stakeholders; management of proposed systems initiatives through prioritization and initiation; blueprinting, development and documentation of detailed business requirements; project execution and cross-functional systems project implementation; oversight over design and delivery of user acceptance and other testing plans; creation and implementation of system enhancements and improvements; ongoing application maintenance, performance monitoring and troubleshooting; management of the relationship between CAD and service delivery partners for key applications.
Qualifications
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, or a similar discipline
- 10 years of combined experience in business analysis, systems implementation or related experience and leading complex, cross-functional initiatives. Insurance application specific experience preferred.
- 5 years leading systems and operations excellence initiatives that resulted in measurable change
- Business Analysis training and / or certification preferred
- Experience with indirect leadership and mentorship
