Ergon Asphalt and Emulsions, Inc, Bee Cave, Texas is seeking a full-time Account Specialist to join our team.
The Account Specialist coordinates and submits all state and county bids for Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions, Inc. business. In addition, this role supports the Area and Regional Sales Managers as well as performing general office duties.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and process project bids according to local county and Ergon requirements
- Ensure Salesforce is updated with bid information pursuant to contract terms and conditions
- Once a month, submit compliance reports on-line for three major city and county customers regarding subcontractor payments
- Prepare and respond directly to requests for Price Quotes
- Correspond with Credit Department regarding new or existing customers
- Respond to and fix any Salesforce issues, corresponding as needed with plant personnel and/or salesmen
- Assist with freight or billing issues as needed
- Receive and forward Purchase Orders from various entities to respective plant personnel
- Schedule and coordinate material deliveries
- Open, process and distribute mail
- Answer telephone
- Filing
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, Preferred: Associate degree
- Required Work Experience: 1-2 years of experience. Experience in an office management role preferred.
- Proficient with computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, experience with Salesforce is preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Must be detail oriented and provide prompt and accurate administration.
