Job Description:
Responsible for the preparation and packaging of various asphalt based adhesives with emphasis on producing quality products in line with the ErgonArmor Memphis Standard Operating Procedures.
Performs assigned housekeeping and safety duties, such as clean-up of area, daily and monthly inspections, reports any safety concerns to management to ensure a safe work environment and reports maintenance related issues, when necessary,
Duties of Job: Duties include but not limited to:
Stages packaging containers, fills pails, drums and totes with products on packaging lines to prepare product for shipment.
Provide assistance for packaging products in preparation for shipment.
Provide assistance in setting up, operating and tending equipment that mixes, blends or processes required ingredients in the manufacture of finished products.
Maintains clean work area and promotes safe work habits.
Maintains good working relationships with all co-workers, customers and associates. Works in a participative manner with supervisor and co-workers.
Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
Possess time management skills for reporting to work on time and to meet deadlines.
Possess a strong commitment to team environment and exercises personal initiative.
Ability to perform work with minimal supervision.
Good verbal and written communications.
Possess basic mathematics skills.
Pass a pre-employment assessment test.
Capable of obtaining fork truck certification
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Standing and walking on hard surfaces for long periods of the day
Must be able to climb, bend, stoop, squat, twist, and reach
