- Providing effective daily supervision, coaching, guidance, and mentorship to Laboratory personnel.
- Creating and maintaining work schedules.
- Organizing daily workflow for Laboratory Analysts.
- Working closely with Operations to define and understand special needs for plant support.
- Coordinating sample scheduling changes.
- Participating in the development and stewardship of capital and expense budgets.
- Serving as the radiation safety officer.
- Developing and maintaining laboratory standard operating procedures.
- Inventorying and ordering supplies.
- Coordinating outside testing services and communication of sample results.
- Identifying gaps in training, quality, resources, programs, etc., and recommending improvements.
- Coordinating customer sample shipment and receipt to ensure labeling and other regulatory requirements are met.
