We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying business needs, analyzing processes / systems, and delivering insights to help drive decision-making and improve overall business performance.

Data & Analytics Business Analyst Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, ideally in Oil and Gas.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Jira, Smartsheet, Visio.
• Knowledge of business process modeling, requirements gathering, and project management principles.
• Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies is a plus.
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with SQL data bases is a bonus.
• Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
  

Data & Analytics Business Analyst Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and needs.
• Analyze data and trends to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Develop detailed business cases, process flow diagrams, and functional specifications.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to design solutions that align with business goals.
• Work closely with project management on planning and execution, ensuring that solutions meet business objectives and timelines.
• Facilitate data and analytics workshops and meetings to ensure stakeholder alignment and to communicate findings.
• Support the development of test plans and ensure successful implementation of business solutions.
• Provide post-implementation support to ensure business solutions are achieving desired outcomes.
