HRIS Administrator Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintains the HRIS's optimal function, including installing, customizing, maintaining, and upgrading applications, systems, and modules.
- Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
- Identifies system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
- Set up permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations for HRIS users.
- Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
- Compiles or assists with acquiring complex data reports, summaries, and logs for managers and HR staff.
- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Updates the organization structure, pay grades, job and position titles, and other changes related to organizational changes.
- Manages and troubleshoots LMS and Onboarding 2.0-related tasks.
- Serves as a second level testing for new tax types, tax authorities, monthly tax tubs updates, new functionality/transports in EC/ECP, HRSP's updates, and new wage types.
- Manages and maintains Employee Central Workflows.
- Assists with the implementation of new software and SAP modules.
- Serves as a backup for troubleshooting payroll-related issues. Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
- Performs other duties as required.
- A bachelor's degree in information technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, specifically with Excel applications.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS, payroll, and similar employee management software.
- At least 3-5 years of experience working with SAP, including specific training with SAP applications and system landscapes, including the ability to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot SAP systems.
