Position Overview
The QC Supv for Coatings & FP (QCSCF) role is a leadership position for the application of various industrial coatings. Our main coatings work includes exterior of metal and concrete, interior of metal and concrete, and fireproofing. Construction is a people business, and the primary responsibility of this position is preparing our people for success. QCSCF will be responsible for establishing our standard for quality in coatings and fireproofing. QCSCF will be involved in the full life cycle of projects including: bid review, pre-mob planning, project execution, and customer acceptance. QCSCF will be responsible for creating/maintaining our industry standard programs (AMPP). This position includes recruitment, retention, coaching, mentoring, training, and regularly communicating with coatings related QC technicians. This communication also extends to former employees who may be eligible for re-hire as work demands. The QCSCF will also serve as a SME resource for ideas/methods/training for all of our coatings personnel. The QCSCF is a critical leadership role within ISO Services and will be required to coordinate closely with project managers, HR, Safety, and Operations.

Position Responsibilities
- Lead our employees related to all types of coating applications. Treat these employees
- Promote ISO Services and keep our team in a positive light with the customer.
- Prior to mobilization, prepare our crews with instructions/tools/programs/checklists to
- Lead by example. Know the details of the work in order to have the best communication
in troubleshooting.
- Define quality risk for each project and establish plans to mitigate these risk factors.
- Anticipate the needs of customer and our crews.
- Assist in growing our coating related business.
- As required, spend time on the jobsites with emphasis on; job startup, trouble shooting,
- Provide written instructions where possible and use our technology tools.
- Establish/maintain our QC program related to coatings and fireproofing.
- Use our procedures (work the plan).
- Safety Leadership Engagement: we expect all of our leaders to participate in overall safety
- Know the product data sheets and application guides. Arrange for manufacturer to
- Assist HR with recruiting.
- Track skills assessment for all coatings and FP personnel (pre-employment and periodic).
- Appraise performance of site employees and report back to Operations, QC Manager.
- Work with Safety & Training coordinator to define the training needs for your team and
- Ensure the completion of paperwork (daily field reports, pictures, video, drawing
- Assist the QC Manager in defining needs for testing equipment, owned equipment, rented
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Ensure that the jobsite, facility, and staff are in a presentable state.
- Handle various daily, weekly and monthly (internal and external) reporting as required.
- Ensure our personnel carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's
- Ensure implementation and enforcement of Safety and Health Policies and Programs.
- Audit job sites and work areas for conformity and compliance with company and site
- Work closely with Admin/Accounting to ensure accuracy of payroll and job cost codes.
- Expand services within customer facility to include other department services.
- Develop relationships with co-workers throughout all of ISO Services.
- Promote our multi-craft culture with the goal of developing personnel to assist with more

- QCSCF will perform any other tasks as directed by the QC Manager.
- Valid driver's license and TWIC Card.
- OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training
- >4 years of industrial coatings supervision experience.
- >4 years of coatings QC experience
- Certified Coatings Inspector
- Experience with related planning, recruiting, estimating, and purchasing,
- Experience with maintaining contractor QC programs to be meet customer and SSPC,NACE, AMPP standards.
- Acceptable written and verbal communication skills
- Night/Weekend work may be required and up to 50% travel.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Must be physically able to work in a jobsite environment for extended periods to include lifting up to 50lbs, bending, squatting, climbing ladders, climbing stairs, enter/exit vessel/tank manways, crouching, and reaching.
- Must be physically able to work in extreme conditions including heavy rain, wind or excessive temperatures.
- Must pass a pulmonary function test for ability to use a respirator.
