The Tax Manager is responsible for managing tax reporting and compliance for a large, diversified organization by ensuring accurate and timely tax returns to minimize the company's tax obligations.

Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Professional Accountancy
- 5 years of experience.
- Professional credentials a plus.
- Knowledge of tax rules and regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively, with strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Strong leadership skills with a team-oriented and collaborative approach to work.
- Experience working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with highly motivated and driven professionals, involving large, complex, time-sensitive projects.
- Organizational knowledge, motivational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks to maximize
- Responsible for managing tax reporting and compliance function for a large, diversified organization.
- Oversees the completion of accurate and timely tax returns in order to minimize the tax obligations of the company.
- Responsible for maintaining business licenses for all locations and maintaining truck fleet's comprehensive licensing and operating authority in 48 states and Canada.
- Defines and resolves complex issues where fundamental principles do not clearly apply or where data appears to conflict.
- Interaction requires tact, diplomacy and persuasion skills.
- Provides tax research and advice to support all domestic companies
- Knowledge of changes in tax rules, regulations, and rates.
- Research tax incentives for new locations and projects to minimize state and local tax burden.
- Recruit, manage and develop staff emphasizing employee growth.
- Responsible for the development and execution of department.
