Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time (24 hours maximum) dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in both an office and production environment, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all occupants.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
- Maintain floors through buffing and polishing to ensure they are clean and presentable.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of common areas (break rooms, restrooms, etc.).
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff to address immediate needs.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report when stock is low to ensure availability.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and order in all assigned areas.
