Eric Sheffield Architect is looking for an intermediate architect with 3 to 4 years of postgraduate experience to apply for a full-time in-person position.

About the position:
- Coordinating complete construction process in close collaboration with clients, engineers, contractors, consultants, and designers.
- Frequent site visits throughout the city to oversee projects
- Coordinating permitting drawing sets in collaboration with the wider project team
- Preparing construction drawings and schedules for bidding
- Opportunities to gain NCARB AXP hours in all required areas of experience under a licensed architect
About you:
- AutoCAD proficient
- Working knowledge of the Adobe Suite
- Basic understanding of New York City Building Department and Landmarks process preferred
- Experience with construction administration and construction documentation
- Strong communication skills
- Graphic design skills for client presentations
- Eager to learn; self-starter
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Degree in architecture from an accredited school
- 3-4 years of relevant professional postgraduate experience
- Authorized to work in the United States
Our compensation includes: A competitive salary starting at $75,000 - $90,000 a year commensurate with experience, plus healthcare benefits, including vision and dental, Simple IRA with employer contribution, 10 vacation days, 6 personal days, and holidays.
