Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of personal lines customer service agents, ensuring individual and team targets are met.
- Provide expert advice to potential clients, customizing insurance solutions that meet their unique needs.
- Design and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth and profitability in the personal lines sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and retention.
- Serve as the main point of contact for the Personal Lines team, handling inquiries with qualifying new business, claims, and underwriting decisions.
- Support agency owner in hiring and training new Personal Lines team members.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitive products, enhancing the team's knowledge and service quality.
- Work with agency owner to track and report on sales and service metrics and performance, making data-driven decisions to enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with agency owner in setting, tracking, and achieving Personal Lines goals.
- Address individual agent performance/feedback when needed and discuss team performance with agency owner on a regular basis.
- Build and maintain rapport with customer service agents, clients and underwriters.
Requirements
- Education: A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Licensing: Must hold a valid property & casualty and life & health insurance license (if no current life and health license, must be willing to complete testing to acquire this)
- Experience: Has 5 years of experience in an insurance sales/managerial role, preferably within personal lines.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer Service: Strong focus on delivering a superior customer experience.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify solutions to complex problems quickly and efficiently.
- Self-motivated with initiative, integrity, and thoughtfulness
