Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers to take drink orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using cash registers or POS systems.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate drink orders for banquets or special events.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service for all guests.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS systems is a plus but can be learned on the job.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and contribute positively to the work environment.
