Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink selections.
- Process orders through the POS system, accurately handling cash register transactions and cash handling.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to support catering events and ensure timely service.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering when necessary.
- Stay informed about current drink trends, brewing techniques, and fine dining service standards.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations while serving alcohol responsibly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and experience with catering services is a plus.
- Familiarity with retail math for inventory management is beneficial.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing is required.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in transactions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Must be of legal drinking age and possess any required certifications or licenses related to alcohol service.
