Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Your warm welcome and attentive service will ensure that every guest feels valued and appreciated.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, assisting with inquiries and reservations.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle guest relations with professionalism, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Assist in training new staff on proper hosting procedures and customer service standards.
- Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS, for managing reservations and orders efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and POS systems is a plus.
- A positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences are essential.
