IT ESCALATIONS TECHNICIAN
A BRIEF ABOUT US:
Erickson Technologies has been providing technology solutions, practice workflow and excellent customer support for over 750 dental offices in the Midwest and Nationwide for over 35 years. We are looking for motivated, passionate and capable individuals to join the team-oriented technician group at our Eagan, Minnesota office.
ABOUT THE JOB:
The Escalations Technician provides advanced support for server troubleshooting, configuration, and installation, resolving complex technical issues for customers and internal teams. This role requires expertise in server infrastructure, networking practices, and troubleshooting for both small and large-scale environments. When not engaged in installations or projects, the technician will assist with service requests and helpdesk support. Success in this position demands strong problem-solving skills, adaptability to diverse technical scenarios, and excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience in every interaction.
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL POSSES:
- Two-Year degree in a relative field and/or equivalent work experience. MCSA/SE Preferred
- Two or more years professional experience on firewalls, switches, routing, VLAN, VPN, etc.
- Strong understanding of Windows desktop and Windows Server operating systems
- Ability to perform complete teardown and rebuild of server and network environments in emergency and non-emergency situations
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
- Solid critical thinking, problem solving and troubleshooting skillset
- Capacity to maintain a positive, professional and friendly attitude
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Accept escalations and special projects as assigned, including difficult to solve issues
- Install and configure servers and networking equipment remotely or onsite, as needed
- Capability to work independently or with little supervision
- Strong time management skills
- Utilize various software tools, CRM and RMM software, and calls to 3rd party technical support to resolve customer issues
- Respond and analyze complex inquiries of technical and functional nature not in routine and require deviation from standard procedures

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
