Core Assembler

We are looking for a Material Handler to join our growing team!
The Role: Performs electronic or electro-mechanical production assembly operations to build and produce components by performing the following duties.
Available Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (M – TH)
Other Shift Options: 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM (M-TH)
5:00 am – 3:30 PM (M-TH)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
- Works with limited supervision to assemble units of moderate complexity.
- Read and understand production/assembly instructions, parts lists, diagrams, verbal instruction and notes to assemble, wire and install a variety of components.
- Identify and select components to be integrated into assembly units.
- Safely operates any equipment needed to perform job.
- Utilize production job schedules, and confer with supervisors/leads, to determine work priorities.
- Refer to engineering documentation such as CAD drawings and manufacturing procedures.
- Record production data such labor time and quantities using ERP system.
- Inform supervisors /leads of equipment malfunctions that need to be addressed.
- Clean and maintain equipment, machinery, and workstations on a daily basis.
Minimum Qualifications, Education and Certifications:
- Works with limited supervision to assemble units of moderate complexity.
- Must be able to read and understand production/assembly instructions, parts lists, diagrams, verbal instruction and notes to assemble, wire and install a variety of components.
- To perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform each essential/duty satisfactorily.

- High school education or equivalent and one year related assembly experience.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Must be able to identify and select components to be integrated into assembly units.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

- The employee frequently is required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; stoop talk and hear.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
