Electrical Assembler

Available Shift : 6 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM (M – TH)
Other Shift Options include :

General Purpose : Performs electrical assembly operations to produce components and finished product by performing the following duties :
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Assemble electrical or mechanical systems by installing components, subassemblies, and wiring to NEC standards.Adjust, repair, or replace electrical component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand, power tools, equipment and testing instrumentation.Position, align, or adjust work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.Safely operates any equipment needed to perform job within the assembly.Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.Drill, tap, punch holes in specified equipment locations to mount components or to provide openings for wiring or instruments.Inspect or test wiring installations and assemblies for product conformanceUtilize production job schedules, and confer with supervisors / leads, to determine work priorities.Record production data such labor time and quantities using ERP system.Inform supervisors / leads of equipment malfunctions that need to be addressed.Clean and maintain equipment, machinery, and work stations on a daily basis.Minimum Qualifications, Education and Certifications :
High school education or equivalent and two years related assembly experience, including panel wiring and conduit installation.Must be able to read and understand electrical and mechanical blueprints, production / assembly instructions, parts lists, verbal instruction and notes to assemble, wire and install a wide variety of components.Ability to apply previous experience and sound assembly techniques to perform detailed written or oral instructions.Works with limited supervision to assemble units of moderate complexity.Ericson offers competitive compensation
