Ericsson is a leading provider of enterprise 5G private cellular networking solutions. We are seeking a motivated Product Owner to join our Product team.
The PCN Product Owner will work cross-functionally to shepherd initiatives and coordinate deliverables across teams. This role has high visibility as a part of a rapidly evolving and emerging technology space; it requires a dynamic and proactive leader to help us define and optimize processes and improve scale and efficiency as our team grows. Candidates should be ready to bring organization to complex and cross-functional environments and have an interest and aptitude for working with wireless, cloud, AI, and networking technologies in a software-centric team.
Objectives of this role:
- Drive initiative requirements and organization while maintaining sanity amongst cross-functional teams
- Help the team convert strategic feature ideas into designs, executable stories, and release plans
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, track status, and interject as needed to keep teams on track
- Reduce the tactical noise for product managers, architects, and delivery teams by overseeing agile processes and ceremonies
- Support team cohesion and focus with clear communication and process excellence
- Ensure that we continue to deliver the best products to customers and partners without delays
- Drive velocity internally to deliver value in the form of external features and internal automation
What you will do
Embed with engineering teams to guide PCN deliverables
Represent the voice of the customer; distill product requirements into actionable user stories
Work closely with Product Management & Engineering to create and maintain team backlog, articulating business value and ensuring it aligns with the team’s charter
Passionately prioritize the team’s backlog and get the team ‘ready for execution’ thru backlog refinement
Actively participate in sprint meetings to keep the team aligned on priorities and scope
Embrace uncertainty, be flexible and prepare for the fact that requirements will change with time, and plan how to adapt to the changes without breaking the team’s execution cadence
Become a subject matter expert in the initiative’s value, use cases, and related customer problem
Build and maintain a relationship with stakeholders
Train Support, Sales, and Marketing on the initiative
Provide market content input and schedule details for a feature launch
The skills you bring
- Three (3 ) years of Product Management, Product Owner, Program Manager, or R&D experience delivering cloud-based software solutions in an Agile development environment
- Fast executor, self-starter, eager to learn
- Ability to understand both technical details and practical business use of applications
- Ability to lead initiatives from ideation through implementation
- Critical thinking skills to make intelligent and defendable decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional global teams
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools
- Knowledge and firsthand experience working with Jira/Confluence
- Experience with computer networking, wireless, data analytics, AI, LTE/5G, and/or SaaS
- Preference for candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree
- Preference for candidates in the Eastern or Central US time zone or the Boise, ID area

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
$94,800 - $124,425

Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
