About this opportunity:
As an established Ericsson Production Site in the US, the Smart Factory warehouse team is now looking for a Warehouse Inbound Lead to be the first line of support for warehouse operations. Crucial aspects of the role include working within multiple softwares for warehouse material receipt, material preparation, and shipping of finished goods. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a demonstrated track record of working in a fast-paced environment, who learns quickly, enjoys working within a team, and possesses outstanding problem-solving skills. This individual must have knowledge working with a warehouse management system, work well under pressure, possess a working knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, and be able to work autonomously with little to no supervision and/or mistakes. The Warehouse Inbound Lead is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the Inbound process within the warehouse. This role involves leading a team of inbound operators, ensuring efficient operations, maintaining quality standards, and meeting daily targets.
What you will do:
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
- Work closely with supply chain management team to ensure the accurate systematic and physical receipt of inbound deliveries.
- Utilize Warehouse management system to perform manual and automated material movement throughout warehouse & production environment.
- Lead team meetings and participate in daily operational meetings as needed for updates on production goals.
- Adhere to all safety, quality, company rules / procedures, drive compliance and report all incidents of non-compliance immediately
- Oversee the entire Inbound process, from Unloading to Goods receipt to Putaway and Goods issue of material to production related areas.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment (Internal certification required).
- Maintain and observe 5S program to ensure all working areas are clean and support lean manufacturing goals
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grasp, push, and pull for 8-10 hours, in addition to lifting up to 30 – 50 lbs
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Inbound operations.
- Generate reports on daily and weekly performance, including productivity and accuracy metrics.
- Other duties may be assigned to support warehouse operations.
The skills you bring:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in warehouse or logistics, preferably in a lead role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-starter who works optimally in a fast-paced and everchanging environment
- Proficient with Word, Excel, Power point, other MS Office suite applications
- Availability 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
