About the Role
We are seeking a Production IC Test Engineer to take ownership of critical test systems, streamline production processes, and ensure consistent product performance. This role is integral to our mission, acting as a bridge between the systems team, designers, and manufacturing operations to deliver performance insights and drive continuous improvement.
As our Production IC Test Engineer, you will
- Test Station Management: Own, maintain, and optimize C#-based test stations to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Process Development: Develop and deploy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for test stations to standardize and improve workflows.
- Statistical Process Control (SPC): Create, monitor, and maintain control charts to track performance of the RF test systems and the hardware, and identify deviations.
- Data Analysis: Analyze production data to generate insightful performance reports and support process improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with systems engineers and designers to support Design of Experiments (DoE), debug new hardware, and improve product line performance.
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate performance issues to determine root causes, distinguishing between hardware and software challenges, and coordinate resolutions.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct hardware evaluations to verify test station stability and maintain a controlled environment.
Qualities of a Successful Candidate
- Programming experience (C# preferred; Python acceptable).
- Hands-on experience with RF test hardware (VNA, VSA, spectrum analyzer) and measurements.
- Proficiency in using and interpreting control charts and other process control metrics.
- Experience in manufacturing or yield engineering.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong technical documentation and reporting abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and process improvement.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt with the priorities.
Nice to Have
- Circuit debugging skills.
- Foundational knowledge in manufacturing statistics, with a willingness to learn and apply advanced methods.

Salary Range
Given our anticipated growth, we are open to hiring individuals with varying levels of experience to fill this role. Salary will be commensurate with job-related skills, experience and other relevant factors. The base salary range for the primary location of this role is between $115,000 and $140,000 plus stock options and benefits.
