Vehicle Maintenance
Education equivalent to the completion of the 12th grade. Knowledge of repair and maintenance practices and procedures for
various types of vehicles. Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in repair and maintenance of vehicles. Knowledge of internal combustion engines. Knowledge of inventory management. Knowledge
of welding techniques. Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical system. Knowledge and ability to
follow safety procedures.
Knowledge of mechanical and electronic tune up methods. Ability to
understand and follow
complex oral and written
instructions. Ability to read and understand technical manuals. Ability to identify, analyze, and formulate corrective action regarding engine and equipment
malfunctions. Experience in the supervision and training of others. A job description can be reviewed at the
