POSITION: Grounds Crew Worker
SCHEDULE: Weekday Shift; Typically schedule is 9:00 AM - 3 PM but schedule may vary depending on department need. Weekend Shift: Varies
STATUS: Part-time as needed
REPORTS TO: Head Groundskeeper/Asst. Head Groundskeeper
HOURLY RANGE: $13.00 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Grounds Crew employee will assist in preparing, and maintaining the UPMC Ballpark field and the campus grounds. This part-time position. opportunity will do many additional tasks to support the Erie SeaWolves Minor League Baseball season.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Applicants must be at least 16 years of age
- He/she must be available to work evenings, weekend and holidays.
- He/she must be able to walk, climb, and lift fifty pounds.
- Landscaping experience and/or general mechanical ability is a plus.
Job Description Detail:
- The Grounds Crew Worker is responsible for mowing, pruning, weeding, edging, laying clay, raking & sweeping.
- The Grounds Crew Worker is responsible for helping with minor plumbing, carpentry and electrical work.
- The Grounds Crew Worker is responsible for picking up debris.
- The Grounds Crew Worker is responsible for set up/tear down of batting practice equipment.
- The Grounds Crew Worker is responsible for field aerating.
- The Grounds Crew Worker is responsible for helping with painting.
- The Grounds Crew Worker is responsible for helping with equipment maintenance
- He/she is responsible for assisting lay down and roll up infield tarp, helping with water, and water removal.
- Set up additional events such as concerts and corporate events.
- All other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Assist with game day preparation of UPMC Ball Park.
