POSITION: Bartender
REPORTS TO: Assistant Food & Beverage Manager
FACILITY: Liberty Park
Hourly Rate: $11.00 /Hour Tips
QUALIFICATIONS:
- He/she must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
- He/she must be 21 or older.
- He/she should have experience bartending.
- Must have basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits and familiarity with standard drink recipes.
- Must be willing to learn and operate POS system.
- Must have ability to remain stationary for long periods of time.
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a noisy environment.
- Ability to work well around a large number of people.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in an Alcohol Awareness Program or willingness to be certified in an Alcohol Awareness Program/ (RAMP).
- Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
Job Description Details:
- Responsible for set up/tear down, and stocking products of the bar while on duty.
- Maintain cleanliness of bar area in accordance with health department requirements.
- Operates a point-of-sale system as needed.
- Check identification of guests who meet Pennsylvania legal age requirements for alcohol consumption.
- Must maintain his/her professional appearance with Erie Events dress code and should be in uniform for all events.
- Maintain a high level of customer service to each guest.
- Performs other related tasks as directed by his/her supervisor.
- All duties are to be performed in accordance with Pennsylvania State laws and regulations, as well as the Erie County Convention Center Authority’s policies and procedures
