Description

The Site Medical Director at Erie West Town collaborates with the Site Health Center Operations Director regarding all aspects of site management; collaborates with Senior Provider Leadership and Human Resources to recruit, retain, and develop clinical providers; improves the quality of care of patients at the site by working with site medical providers, QI and Erie provider leadership to establish evidence-based best practices for the site; leads the clinical team to ensure cohesive care throughout the site.

- Compensation is based on each candidate's experience, skills and education within the range identified for the role. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements of the role will start at entry in the range. Any additional skills, experience and education will be reflected in the compensation offered.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborates with the Site Health Center Operations Director to ensure successful clinical operations at the site.Accountable for the quality of care, patient satisfaction and clinical productivity for the site.Actively participates in selecting providers to work at the site. Orients, coaches / mentors, evaluates and disciplines clinical providers for the site.Implements and achieves performance goals and objectives that are set by the Senior Medical Directors and the Chief Clinical Officer for both individual providers and at the site level.Communicates regularly with providers, both in writing and verbally, regarding changes in workflows, new Erie initiatives, and other important updates.Qualifications
Education
Required :
Physician, APRN or PA licensed to practice in Illinois required.Board Certified or Board Eligible in a primary care discipline.Preferred :
Additional master's level degree or equivalent experience : public health, management and administration, or related field preferredExperience
Required :
Two years of post-residency or APRN / PA clinical primary care experience required.Basic rescuer CPR certificationPreferred :
