JOB TITLE: Erie Fitness NOW - Customer Service Representative - 3rd Shift
Hours: 9:00pm to 5:00am
CLASSIFICATION: Full or Part-time, Hourly at $13/hr
ABOUT THE POSITION: Erie Fitness NOW in Erie, PA is seeking highly motivated candidates who are passionate about fitness, members’ goals and the vision of Erie Fitness NOW . A qualified Customer Service candidate is one who is people oriented, able to resolve conflict, ability to multitask, portray a positive attitude, pay attention to detail and be self driven. The candidate will greet and direct members, guests and staff as they enter the club, as well as capture social media content for our channels. This position involves answering questions about operations and policies as well as performing various administrative duties as directed by the supervisor. Customer Service Representatives must be able to perform all job duties as outlined below. Any incomplete or dishonest answers may disqualify candidates from the training process.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of Erie Fitness NOW philosophy and goals
- Positive attitude and outgoing personality
- Able to lift at most 50 lbs and 100 lbs with assistance of another employee
SUGGESTED EXPERIENCE:
- At least 1 year in retail sales, restaurant sales, fitness sales, or group fitness
JOB DUTIES:
- Greets each member promptly and enthusiastically upon their arrival and departure
- Makes membership sales and answers questions regarding account details
- Ensures guests are directed to the appropriate department in a prompt, professional manner
- Posts on social media throughout shift on the Erie Fitness NOW Instagram/FB with approved content
- Provides quality customer service and control at client check either over the phone or in person
- Checks members into Group X classes and ensures accurate class roster
- Monitors check-ins and notifies member of expired credit cards or delinquent accounts
- Provide new members with tour of the club and the facilities
- Adds all trials and all sales into the Iron Erie Fitness NOW Sheet
- Manages client contact logs and assigns messages to Sales or Customer Service Manager via contact log
- All Referrer redemptions for a free month needs to be sent to Membership Director via contact log
- Count Drawer & Deposit Money
- Performs daily cleaning checklist, performs opening and closing checklist when applicable
- Keeps management informed of member and facility needs
- Ensures safety standards are met
- Works when scheduled and adheres to attendance policy:
- No call, no show is terms for termination
- Must work scheduled shifts, any change to the schedule needs to be approved by Customer Service Manager
- Attend all required meetings as directed by General Manager
