- This range represents a national range and the actual salary will depend on several factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the skills, education, training, credentials, location, and experience of an applicant, as well as level of role for which the successful candidate is hired. Position may be eligible for an annual bonus payment.

Position Summary
- This is a remote, work from home position. The selected candidate will ideally live near a large metropolitan area but MUST reside within the ERIE operating footprint .
- Our current operating footprint includes the following states: PA, NY, OH, WI, IN, IL, MD/DC, WV, VA, NC, TN, KY
- This position requires extensive travel, often overnight.
- A company car with paid gas card will be provided.
- This position has a very strong focus in production, relationship management, and recruiting. Manages and directs the overall activities related to the Medicare Supplement product line.
- Manages the relationships and performance of third-party vendors in the Medicare Supplement line of business. This includes consistent engagement through periodic touchpoints as well as a structured review process in partnership with Sourcing and Vendor Management.
- Maintains and applies an in-depth knowledge of Erie Family Life's ("EFL") products and their uses in the marketplace. Also maintains active understanding of industry trends and opportunities for EFL.
- Engages with the field to drive production and partnership with the National Marketing organization.
- Resolves issues and answers questions that arise in the line of business from Employees, Agents, and Insureds. Facilitates questions and timely responses through partnering vendors.
- Leads Medicare Supplement product development efforts including researching, proposing, designing, and facilitating pricing new products or changes to EFL's existing products. Works with others inside and outside of the life actuarial division to ensure that new products or product changes are implemented on administration, illustration, or other systems as intended.
- Prepares, oversees the preparation, and/or coordinates the drafting and proof-reading of rate filings, application forms, policy forms, actuarial memoranda, and related material for submission to state insurance departments. Implements procedures to ensure compliance with appropriate regulations and guidelines.
- Assists in training and direction to Life Sales Managers and ERIE Agents regarding the promotion and sale of Medicare Supplement products. Interacts with Agents as necessary, educating them regarding the products available through Erie Family Life, including policy features and benefits .
- Contributes to EFL's leadership team in developming and evaluating operational and life product initiatives. Identifies and evaluates opportunities for improvements in productivity and efficiency in the Division. Acts as a change agent in facilitating strategic goals and initiatives as defined by senior and executive management. Works with and make proposals to senior and executive management.

Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and six years Medicare product-specific related experience, including a working knowledge of underwriting, rating and ERIE's automated systems, or equivalent, required; or
- Associate's degree and eight years of related experience required; or
- High school diploma or GED and ten years of related experience required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and database software required.
- Successful completion of CPCU, AIM, and other related supervisory management courses preferred.
