Position may be eligible for an annual bonus payment.

Position Summary
- Collaboration with IT in the implementation of Finance technology including new/enhanced system capabilities and automations
- Leads Process Improvements and Business Initiatives for Finance, including the identification of opportunities to improve business processes
- Provides technical knowledge and insight to identify and recommend systems, tools and automation technologies that can address specific business problems within finance processes
- Defines, develops and provides information and analysis to drive the decision-making process
- Defines processes to identify, measure, and manage program success, focusing on value realization
- Develops actionable and appropriate people, process, and technology improvement recommendations
- Supports business portfolio, larger and most complex initiatives to ensure business value is delivered
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages overall operations of designated area of authority. Interviews, hires, trains and directs personnel. Prepares and conducts performance assessments, coordinates discipline and oversees Employee development as required.
- Provides leadership for a medium program or a group of related projects. Crafts and orchestrates attainment of program benefits, and sustains progress of the program. Applies program management best practices around scope, budget, schedule and change control.
- Defines team and individual performance objectives that support division, department and section goals and objectives. Defines training plans for team members and monitors progress. Coaches project managers in the practical application of project management practices and tools.
- Supports and participates in initiative and program development and implementation, including enrolling and supporting senior leadership stakeholder participants, business unit leaders, general management, subject matter experts and staff.
- Monitors program performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments and resource allocations to ensure optimal program performance and quality. Prepares status reports, briefings, proposals, financial analysis reports, time reports, and quality reviews for assigned program on a regular basis.
- Facilitates stakeholder engagement to drive program success and ensure alignment with corporate goals. Defines, develops and provides information and analysis to drive the decision-making process and support business operations for internal and external customers.
- Engages in collaborative alliances to ensure alignment of critical objectives, gains key insights, and enable imperative buy-in.
- Utilizes expertise of the project lifecycle to prepare, analyze and maintain detailed project work plans and schedules using project-planning tools and ERIE guidelines.
- Works closely with the PMO to manage organizational change, create alignment with organizational goals and consider all potential risks and the mitigation of those risks.
- Delivers presentations to key stakeholders summarizing objectives, deliverables, status and metrics.

Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, management information systems, project management, or related field and five years of project management experience required; or
- Associates degree in business, finance, management information systems, project management, or related field and seven years related project management experience required; or
- High school diploma or GED and nine years related project management experience required.
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of project lifecycle including project management processes and change management concepts preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of project planning techniques and automated project planning tools required.
- Working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, graphics and database software required.
- Preferred Designations Project Management Professional (PMP) Program Management Professional (PgMP) Six-sigma green belt CPCU or related insurance designation.
