What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catastrophe Property Adjuster MULTIPLE REMOTE LOCATIONS position at Erie Insurance?
This is a work-from-home position in the Catastrophe Operations Dept, where you will exercise independent discretion or judgment in handling all types of catastrophe property claims. This role requires frequent travel away from home throughout the ERIE footprint, and includes a company car with paid gas card. You will establish immediate contact with policyholders, properly identify and assess damage, determine liability and total value of claim, and negotiate claims with plaintiff attorneys when necessary.
